Domain
A domain name is also known as the web address of the website called a Universe Resource Locator (URL). The URL goes into much more detail than a domain name, providing more information like the specific folder and file on the server, the machine name, and the protocol language. Every website is identified or located globally by this domain name. This domain name must be initially registered with any of the registrar accredited by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
Domain Name System (DNS) formulates the rules and procedures for the domain names. Add-on domains are the domains generated within the TLDs based on the hosting feasibility of the provider. Subordinate level of DNS root domain is nameless, which is not supported by all hosting providers.
